Eligibility Criteria / Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Any Graduate (or equivalent)
Experience & Skills
- 0 to 2 years of experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support roles
- Fundamental knowledge of hardware (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
- Basic software installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office suite, drivers, basic network connectivity
- Ability to diagnose and resolve printer / scanner / peripheral issues
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is advantage
- Good problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Customer / user orientation and ability to work under pressure
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (including connectivity, driver conflicts, OS errors)
- Setup user accounts, permissions, software installations, and updates
- Perform routine system maintenance (patching, updates, backups)
- Monitor system performance and ensure security (antivirus, firewall, policies)
- Assist in onboarding new employees (provisioning hardware & software)
- Provide remote support and on-site visits as needed
- Maintain logs of issues, solutions, and status tracking
- Escalate issues to higher‑level support when necessary
- Assist in periodic audits, documentation, and adherence to IT policies
