Role Description – What You Will Do?
As a Network Field Engineer, your main responsibility will be fiber network setup, installation, and maintenance at customer locations.
✅ Daily Responsibilities
- Going to customer site/location.
- Installing fiber cables as per the given plan.
- Setting up new fiber network connections.
- Fiber network maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Fiber cable jointing and splicing (training will be provided).
- Coordinating with backend teams and finishing tasks on time.
- Preparing installation / maintenance reports.
Job Responsibilities (Detailed Explanation)
🔹 1. Fiber Network Installation
- Connect fiber cable from the main junction box to customer location.
- Configure router/modem and complete installation.
- Ensure proper signal strength before handover.
🔹 2. Fiber Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Attend customer complaints and resolve issues.
- Check signal breaks, identify defects, repair, and restore service.
🔹 3. Cabling & Routing
- Perform structured cabling.
- Test ports using fiber testing devices.
🔹 4. Coordination with Team
- Coordinate with backend NOC engineer through calls / WhatsApp.
- Update job completion status in the tracking system.
